How you can make a difference
Your participation in Lap the Map helps us spread awareness and helps support Australians living with type 1 diabetes.
Each dollar we raise through Lap the Map will support our Medical Assistance Dog program to ensure we continue to provide Diabetic Alert Dogs free-of-charge to Australians in need.
The first Lions Diabetic Alert Dog, Sal, went to recipient, Eliza, in late 2022. Since then, 11 Diabetic Alert Dogs have been provided at no cost.
