Throughout Spring 2025 the members of Urunga Lions Club will be walking to help raise funds for Diabetes Assistant Dogs. We have set a goal of walking 2000km and raising at least $1000 during this time.
Living with diabetes can be tough, with constant worries about blood sugar levels. Diabetic Alert Dogs are specially trained to detect changes in their owner’s blood sugar, alerting them before it becomes dangerous. These amazing dogs not only help keep people safe but also offer comfort and companionship.
Our goal is to provide these life-changing Diabetic Alert Dogs free of charge to Australians living with diabetes. We believe everyone should have access to this support, regardless of their situation.
Your donations make this possible by helping us train more dogs and support families.
Please donate today. Every little bit helps us provide hope and support to those living with diabetes. Together, we can make a real difference.
