From 1 August members are reporting the kilometres they are walking on a daily basis! Looking forward to smashing last year’s results in both Kms and funds raised!We’re doing Lap the Map to Transform Lives with Diabetic Alert Dogs
Together members of Urunga Lions Club are walking within our community in support of Lions Assistance Dogs and in particular Diabetic Alert Dogs.
Living with diabetes can be tough, with constant worries about blood sugar levels. Diabetic Alert Dogs are specially trained to detect changes in their owner’s blood sugar, alerting them before it becomes dangerous. These amazing dogs not only help keep people safe but also offer comfort and companionship. Our goal is to provide these life-changing Diabetic Alert Dogs free of charge to Australians living with diabetes. We believe everyone should have access to this support, regardless of their situation. Your donations make this possible by helping Lions Assistance Dogs to train more dogs and support families.
